期刊介绍

《景观设计学》Landscape Architecture Frontiers(中英文)期刊(以下简称本刊)由高等教育出版社和北京大学主办,北京大学建筑与景观设计学院教授、美国艺术与科学院院士俞孔坚担任主编。本刊中英双语出版,全球发行(ISSN 2096-336X,CN 10-1467/TU,中国邮发代号:80-985)。目前为中国科学引文数据库(CSCD)和日本科学技术振兴机构数据库(JST)收录,并已进入新兴引文源期刊数据库(ESCI);获2015年美国景观设计师协会(ASLA)交流类荣誉奖。

目标与范围

景观是土地和土地上的物体所构成的综合体,是自然和人文过程相互作用的复杂系统;景观设计学是关于景观的分析、改变和管理的理论、方法、技术和艺术。本刊定位于景观设计的学术研究与设计实践的交叉领域,探讨如何通过景观设计学途径,提出解决中国和世界生态与环境问题的新观念、新理论和新方法;通过介绍和推广前沿景观设计实践,倡导有助于实现美丽中国与美丽地球的新美学和新文化;架设研究与社会需求之间、科学与艺术之间的桥梁,引领当代景观设计学科的发展。本刊读者群为相关领域的科研人员和专业实践群体、院校师生、决策者和广大城乡环境的建设者。

论文
选刊的论文(包括研究性文章、研究性的设计和综述)探讨景观的结构和功能及其相互关系的规律;探讨景观中自然和人文过程及其相互关系;探讨景观作为一个综合的系统与人类社会系统的相互关系,特别是景观对人类社会系统的服务(包括生产与供给服务,环境调节服务,游憩、审美启智及精神信仰等文化服务)。

对应当期主题,以对话与评论文章形式,力求从多角度、多学科、全面、客观地对有关现象和作品进行分析和评论,发表看法。

作为国际化的设计与交流平台,刊登原创性的最新当代景观设计实践,展示景观设计在解决当代中国和世界环境问题中的探索和试验。鼓励具有批判精神和创新思想的作品和实践,拒绝迂腐。

重要调整

鼓励英文投稿

1、所有通过外审同行评议的中文投稿,在终审环节之前,作者均需自行提供英文译文,英文译文需经过权威专业翻译润色机构的认证,并出具认证说明。若英文译文未通过编辑部评审,投稿将会被退修或建议重新翻译。

2、本刊阅读顺序将调整为先英文后中文,文章配图集中呈现在英文部分;英文稿件的中文译文仅包括标题、摘要、关键词、作者信息、文章要点与图文摘要等关键信息,不再对正文及图片另作中文翻译。如需要,中文投稿可保留中文正文等内容。

新增文章要点和图文摘要

1、本刊新增“文章要点”内容版块,要点一般包含3~5条,文字简短精悍,简要介绍研究中使用的创新方法、研究亮点及研究成果。研究型和综述型论文需突出研究的应用性结论;实践型文章需提炼设计实践的理论框架,增强研究与实践的对话与互通。

2、本刊新增“图文摘要”内容版块。“图文摘要”是针对研究中的主要发现所进行的简单、图形化及可视化总结,可以是从文中提取的某一总结性图示,也可以专门绘制,方便读者迅速了解文章的关键信息。

3、作者投稿时若未提交“文章要点”和“图文摘要”,编辑部将视为内容提交不全,初审时将退修或退稿。

特别说明

1、本刊在收到稿件后即通过电话或邮件通知作者,稿件随后进入评审程序,审稿工作由本刊编辑部及编委和有关专家承担。

2、国家及省部级自然科学基金资助项目研究论文和国家及省部级获奖项目论文优先录用,作者需在投稿中注明基金项目全名及项目标号。

3、投稿4个月内请勿一稿多投,以免造成不良影响。4个月后若未接到录用通知可自行处理。

4、无论刊用与否均不退稿(有特殊要求的应注明),请作者自留底稿备份。

5、本刊按统一发稿计划安排稿件,不完全以收稿先后顺序刊发。

Guidelines for Authors

Introduction

Landscape Architecture Frontier (LA Frontiers) is hosted by Higher Education Press and Peking University, with Prof. Yu Kongjian, professor of the College of Architecture and Landscape of Peking University and member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, acting as the editor-in-chief.

LA Frontiers is published worldwide in English and Chinese (ISSN 2096-336X). It has been included in the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) Database, and Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). It was awarded the Honor Award in Communications Category by American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) in 2015.

Aims and Scope

Landscape is a complex made up of land and objects on it, and a system developed by the interaction between nature and human beings. Landscape architecture is a discipline covering theories, approaches, techniques, and arts concerning analysis, changes, and management of landscape.

LA Frontiers will put its focus on the intersecting spheres of academic research and design practice in landscape architecture, discussing new opinions, theories, and approaches to addressing environmental and ecological issues through landscape architecture; advocating new aesthetics and new culture which benefit the beauty of China and the world by introducing and promoting the most recent practice of landscape architecture. It acts as a bridge connecting research and social needs, science and art, leading the development of the discipline. Our audience includes researchers and professional architects, faculties and students, policymakers in related fields and people who work on environmental constructions in both urban and rural areas.

Description of Main Columns

Papers
Paper (including research papers, research designs, and reviews) seeks discussion on the structure and function of landscape and the law of relation between them, and the natural and cultural process and their relation in landscape, the relation between landscape as an integrated system and human social system, especially the service to human society provided by landscape (including producing and supporting service, environmental conditioning service, and cultural service in recreation, aesthetics, education, and spiritual belief).

Views & Criticisms
Making comprehensive analysis and criticism related phenomenon and design works, inspiring and provoking thoughts on practice through topic-oriented discussion, dialogue and criticism from multiple perspectives and disciplines.

Thematic Practices, Experiments & Processes
As an international platform for design and communication, most recent and quality landscape architecture works will be presented in this journal, showing exploration and experiment of landscape architecture in solving environmental issues happening in China and the world. Critical and innovative efforts and practice will be encouraged; while rejecting and avoiding obsolete, pedantic or inflexible works.

Important Changes

For manuscripts submitted in English
From Issue 1 of 2022, only the article title, abstract, keywords, author(s)’ information, highlights, and graphical abstract will be translated into Chinese, which will be presented following the English text.

Highlights and graphical abstract
To better spread research to more audience, LA Frontiers requires to provide highlights and graphical abstract for each article.

Highlights consist of a short collection of 3~5 bullet points that convey the innovations and core findings of the article. For articles of Papers, the practical conclusions should be reinforced; for articles of Thematic Practices, a summative theoretical framework of the practice is recommended.

A graphical abstract is a single, concise, pictorial, and visual summary of the main findings. This could either be the concluding figure from the article or a figure that is specially designed for the purpose, which captures the content of the article for readers at a single glance.

Notes and Declarations

1. We will inform the authors via telephone or email when we receive the articles, then the manuscripts will be first reviewed by editors and sent to peer review by the editorials and professionals in related fields.

2. Articles of projects sponsored or awarded by national and provincial, and ministerial level natural science foundation have publishing priority. Please provide the detailed name of the research fund(s) and the project number.

3. No multiple submissions within 4 months. If you have not received any feedback information after 4 months, you can do anything with your articles

4. We do not send back your manuscripts regardless of whether reception or rejection (please note if special requirement is applicable), please maintain the original copy of your articles.

5. Articles will be published in accordance with the scheduled plans, instead of following the sequence of submission.

6. Make sure of providing your detailed address, postal code, email address, telephone, mobile phone for contact.

7. Materials required for submission: text, figures, highlights, graphical abstract, Publishing Requirements (Papers/ Views & Criticisms/ Thematic Practices), and Article Copyright Statement.
